Bousfields provided a planning opinion for a private client with respect to significant takings for Highway 427 which involved not only a determination of the effects of the expropriation through a comparison of the before and after situation, but also an assessment of the impact of the expropriation on the timing of approvals for adjacent plans of subdivision and the adverse impacts resulting from delays.  Research for the assignment included review and precise documentation of materials assembled over a 40 year period.  The assignment included giving evidence before the Ontario Municipal Board.
