News

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Founding Partner, inspirational colleague and exceptional friend, John Bousfield, on the morning of Tuesday November 22, 2016.  Dedicated to his clients and his profession, John came into the office every day until very recently.  When at home he continued to be interested in every aspect of his work:  he loved being a planner.  His presence will be sorely missed, as will his professional acumen, his sense of humour and his humility.   John, we wish you happy planning in your next greenfield.

In June 2016, Bousfields staff joined in on the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) Detroit Exchange Trip, along with about 50 other professionals from the Toronto design, planning and development industries. Attendees took part in several tours of that city, as well as discussions on its remarkable ongoing recovery from bankruptcy and economic collapse. BOUSFIELDS’ SECOND ANNUAL SPONSORED NEW COLLECTION’S PARTY

An innovative and exciting event which took place on October 25, 2014 at the Bloor Gladstone Library. Bousfielders mingled and danced the night away while sipping fine wine and devouring tasty oysters, all in support of the world’s busiest library. Funds raised go towards the Toronto Public Library Foundation to help Toronto’s Library grow a city of readers, develop a city of learners and connect a city of creators.

Hush Hush was a huge success and raised over $80,000! Bousfields is proud to sponsor this event and looks forward to the 2015 party in the stacks!
